3500 Definitions for classes and groups added

At ETIM International we have put AI to work to create definitions for each ETIM class. Today we have published the first batch of 3500 humanly validated class definitions so they can be used as input for AI tools in the future.

While AI significantly speeds up our work, we also understood that whatever has been produced by AI must be humanly validated. We are currently validating approximately 5800 AI-generated definitions one by one. By reading the definition, and comparing it to the actual context of the class. In 1 of 5 definitions, changes are needed to prevent misinterpretations or outright mistakes made by AI. A very difficult, time consuming and sometimes soul-draining task, but with huge benefits for the AI-world.

Because having unambiguous and humanly validated definitions for each class we provide the fuel to AI tools for improved AI-powered classification of products. This will speed up the classification work for all manufacturers, although we highly recommend to also humanly validate your classification data.
